I decided to take up photography and buy myself a DSLR in 2010, when I was inspired by looking at some fine art photography and decided I would love to be able to create some myself.
It seemed like an impossible goal at first but with the help of a very good friend and photographer I began to improve.
I joined Sudbury Camera Club and then Bury St Edmunds Photographic Society where I learned a lot and really enjoyed entering the competitions.
I particularly enjoy landscape photography and portraits, where I aim to capture some of the character and personality of the subject.
Photography has made me some great friends and also introduced me to subjects and a way of looking at things around me that I didnt’ before.
